Hunty was undergoing a major pivot, requiring the creation of a new business model that was scalable and addressed inefficiencies in recruitment, particularly for companies that had massive hiring requirements . The existing model was not sustainable, as companies in this sector needed to fill positions within 3 to 5 days but struggled with high volumes of applications and lack of time for thorough profile reviews. This led to hiring mismatches, increased turnover rates, and inefficient recruitment processes. Our goal was to design a solution that streamlined recruitment using AI, ensuring fast, effective hiring while maintaining a human touch for job seekers.

A tech-driven HR platform that streamlines hiring through AI-powered recruitment solutions, helping companies efficiently match candidates to job openings.​

Outcome

  • Designed and Launch an AI-powered recruitment platform that:

    • Automated candidate pre-selection, reducing 65% of recruiter workload.

    • Matched candidates to roles based on AI-driven skill assessment, improving hiring accuracy by 82%.

    • Offered a seamless candidate experience, ensuring AI interactions felt human and personalized.

  • Developed a human-centered AI integration, allowing companies to make better hires faster without overwhelming HR teams.

  • Launched an MVP, successfully securing Quilmes (Argentina), Quick (Colombia), and Schrader Camargo (Latam)as early adopters.

Design Process

Discovery

  • Conducted immersive field research by spending a week inside companies like Prolamsa (Mexico) , Quilmes (Argentina), Quick (Colombia) and Rappi (Latam) to map their HR and recruitment processes.

  • Identified key pain points, including overloaded HR teams, lack of effective pre-screening, and high turnover due to rushed hiring.

  • Conducted stakeholder interviews and benchmarking analysis to understand gaps in existing HR solutions.

Ideation & Prototyping 

  • Led workshops with internal teams and potential clients to align product features with user needs.

  • Created customer journey maps, emotion maps, and service blueprints to visualize pain points and opportunities.

  • Iterated multiple low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes, validating them with real recruiters and hiring managers.

PIVOT TEAM

Key Learnings

  • Embrace the chaos. In a pivoting startup, constant change is inevitable. I learned to stay flexible, iterate quickly, and see uncertainty as an opportunity rather than a setback.

  • Launch fast, iterate faster. Releasing the MVP early helped us gather real feedback, refine quickly, and build a solution people actually needed.

  • Early adopters matter. Not every client is a fit early on, but those who saw the vision became our strongest allies and shaped the platform’s evolution.
